What are we doing? I feel like I’m surfing the web searching for those in a similar situation. By putting God first, I’m letting go of the steering wheel which is kind of scary. So please be sincere and honest when introducing yourself as I will also.

My plate is full every day but there is still something missing since I became a widower. The mornings and evenings are much quieter unless I fill them with such activities as cycling, weights, a cardio fitness class, fishing, visiting with friends, home construction and landscaping projects, church. Men’s bible study, a college class such as ceramics or welding, dog walking, reading, a movie, and the list goes on and on. At the end of the day I say my prayers and ask God to fill my plate more and I know he knows my heart.
Please don’t take me wrong, I’m in no hurry. I have friends and maybe I’m looking for someone who would like to laugh and giggle and appreciate all that life has to offer. I have no need for drama or miscommunication. Let’s just be honest and get to know one another before we make any judgements.

I’m a 61 year old, father of three adult children who are each figuring life out. I’m about to retire and I’m thinking of moving and opening up a dog kennel business. Just something I’ve always wanted to build and operate. I was hoping just outside the San Diego area.

That’s where at right now. Really quite happy , but placing my hopes in God’s hands.
